I came to this forum hoping I would find some detailed experience others might have had with MyInternetBusiness.com or its twin CarbonCopyPro.com . Both are vague in their exact product details, especially the latter. Perhaps my following reflections stand to be corrected. It seems that everyone finds the whole charismatic approach a little bewildering, yet incomplete. I have had a fair bit of experience with MLM, and am approached by others from time to time, and the 2 mentioned sites seem sooo good. So I looked at a number of associate sites and am still not satisfied. What is the product? Recruiting others? That is a scam (pyramiding at its worse). I have nothing against MLM, but when the product is people’s fees, that a problem. Now, there is an attempt on the Tours to talk about Product, but very few associates have any link to this. The one link to a vacation site just took me back to an associate trying to get me to join. So an appraisal of the site, if it exists, is difficult (though one site I found shows some video footage of the welcome page). But the value of these getaways are undetermined…And they are not for you to sell..but a club you join and use through being an associate! So if you plan to sell Ma and Pa a single trip, you have to get them to ..you guessed it, become an associate. Is the product vacations? And the books? (The other product you are given to sell) Well, only one site of many I reviewed even gave an example of titles you can use to create your store (I am assuming this is the overall intent as little is explained of this). Of the two books titles reviewed on the Tour, both were found on other sites on the top of the Google search, and at a lesser price! (Guide to help Teenagers Loose Weight $17 vs. $1.72 at Lulu.com). And none of the sites offering the title were from associates from the sites discussed here. Recruits are the product. In fact, one associate in a Tour quite plainly said ‘you don’t want to be just selling books, you won’t get rich that way, let me show you how to recruit, that’s where the real money is’. And to underscore that fact, on book sales, the sponsor associate does not even get residuals on book sales; that’s mlm? Would I not be better off cutting a deal with a local bookstore to do their internet marketing? By now, most viewers will have seen the many many associates competing for your clicks when you google MyInternetBusiness. In the old style MLM, each member had a chance to be a unique contact to the prospect. Now the numbers game will mushroom with these companies. Each with their own Tour. All piled on top of one another in search engines. The criticisms that the websites make about the MLM business are true: ie retention problems, hand holding, high prices. But that does not validate their approach either. I have learned these companies have hefty monthly fees, for no real product to you! At least previously I’ld get some vitamins.
