But, along with that, all of us knows that moving is a difficult and huge task, well, it is regrettably feared by most of people, but there are a lot of stages or processes someone or anyone can acquire to make the move less stressful, easier , more quickly, smoother and more satisfactory. Most of the stress that comes with moving could be avoided by not putting off the subservience to ends until it’s too late. When we cannot completely refrain or stay away all moving related stress, we can certainly take some steps like planning, systematizing organizing ahead of time , setting and determining reasonable and realistic goals, we could also add the fact that having friends and family can help you with caring for your children and pets. It would definitely lesser the stress that one is feeling while he or she is busy in moving. With this tips, it would surely make a person who is moving enjoy.

With this article, I would like to share with you, readers, that there are two areas or scope that requires preparation in moving: one is packing your present home, and the other is preparing your new home. So let’s start with your present home. Most of the people nowadays knows that they are going to be moving well in advance. Preparation can start as soon as the decision is made to move and long before a new home is found. The person who moves should plan ahead four or five weeks before he or she will be moving. If you would like, you could also begin to separate old used items, those ones that you wont be using anymore, price and clean the items for garage sale. For your moving to be well organized, you could register your children in their new school. One important thing also when moving is to verify with your insurance agent that your possessions will be covered during your move. Also, a person should also consider the thing that he should notify the utilities and also post-office of your move. Fill out change of address order form for the post office, so they’ll be notified. But all of those will be further discussed and elucidated in the next articles.

In this first part of a series article, I will just be discussing the first phase, the first phase which is packing your present home, which contains the topics on how to get rid of the so called "ballast".

So, what is ballast? Ballast is anything that is not being used or the things that should be replaced. To simplify its definition, these are the stuffs or things that you don’t want anymore and you think that these stuffs should be disposed. Once you separated the things that you don’t want anymore, you may want to have a garage sale, sell it on any online store like EBay, or the most humble and best choice: give it or donate it to charity foundations. At least, you could help those people, isn’t that heartwarming? Anyways, If all these choices doesn’t suit your decision, well, the best idea that I could tell to you is to put all that unwanted stuffs in a box or bag and seal it up. If you have not needed anything in that container or box in a span of six to eight months, it’s best to drop it off at the thrift store.

Well, that’s just the first step when planning to move. Get rid of unwanted things that you don’t really need anymore. In the coming articles, I would be happy sharing with you other helpful steps whenn moving to a new home.
