The power of thought has limitless, boundless possibilities.

For the majority of this, we believed and realized this concept to the fullest when we were children.

Children often have an inexhaustible resource of creativity and imagination.

They can spend a whole day playing by themselves or with a friend feeling like they truly are the "King of the World" that no thought is too far fetched and that no idea is unthinkable.

They have exuberance for life because they do not let anyone define what fun is.

They create exciting moments in their life and somehow know that it is up to them to make their life fun.

Their minds are so open to the possibilities that they see the potential of fun in every tree, every smile, and every grassy knoll that is begging to be rolled down.

They scuff their pants with grass stains and stay out forgetting to eat.

Their minds create the oasis paradise of their dreams.

While, on the other hand, most adults work through blood sweat and tears to afford to travel to such a place.

Though, for practical reasons it is clear to see why we cannot simply always skip and wile away our days.

We need food, we need shelter, and we need some security to feel at peace in our lives in order to be able to enjoy life with such carefree abandon.

But, who wants to spend most of their lives working so hard for just small days or weeks of time that relaxation can be savored?

This is when the power of thought can becomes an invaluable resource.

Just as a child can imagine that he or she is a famous musician in one moment, you too can imagine that behind your desk you are floating in the crystal waves of a tropical island.

You are at work, but simply close your eyes.

Feel the cool water around your body and the sun's warm beaming rays.

Feel the constant motion of the waves as they rock you lightly.

This is very similar to self-hypnosis and meditation and can have both healing and relaxing effects.

You will feel like you have just spent time in the ocean and this does wonders for your well-being!
