In our current climate of uncertainty and rising challenges, one of the most in-demand people are great leaders. Leaders who are visionary; leaders who have heart, insight, wisdom; leaders who are not greedy, self-centered, and selfish, but those who will harness the resources, strengths, and power of those they lead to accomplish feats that can never be dome alone.

The world is looking for beneficial leadership - or leadership that will make a difference in the lives of everyone it touches or has the opportunity to impact. The demand for visionary leadership even in the church is growing at an increasingly alarming rate as well. If you are interested in ministry leadership of any kind, or just leadership in general, here are 4 simple keys to help you grow

Key #1) Lead With The Right Standards - Probably the most important thing you can do as a Christian leader, or the manager of any group, organization, or area, is make sure your act is clean---if there is anything in your life, moral or ethical, which would not stand up to scrutiny if the entire world found out---you must eliminate it immediately. Do not give anyone an occasion to think that you are a hypocrite.

Every leader faces their own struggles and challenges, afterall, leaders art humans too who are subject to the same failures and pitfalls of humanity, but whenever you choose to stand out heads above the rest, your visibility will make you a target. The point is, do not give those would shoot arrows at you an easy target to hit---and you do this by simply taking an internal examination to eliminate areas of your life could potentially become a stumbling stone.

Key #2) Strive To Become An Expert - Leaders who have opened themselves to continual learning and growth will always stay on the cutting edge of leadership, and they will always be great people to follow. Make a decision to learn everything you can about what you are responsible for, even if it means working in the trenches for awhile. Most people dislike being led by someone who has never done what they are demanding others to do, and you will never gain their respect and trust this way.

Sometimes it is just as important participate in the menial tasks because it often gives you a deeper understanding of the frustrating aspects of the work; this can really benefit you by giving you enough personal insight to effectively brainstorm solutions to challenges when they arise, and can position you as a great leader, because people see you understand and care enough about what they do to improve their work process.

Key #3) Lead By Example. How can you honestly expect your employees or secretaries to arrive on time for work, and well dressed is you are always late and shabby looking? Oh and please to tell me you can do that because you are the boss! You can...but you will soon be left alone with no one to lead.

The point is, sometimes as a leader, it is so easy to be deceived into thinking that you have earned the right to do as you please - without repercussion. Sure, you may have be given the authority, but you gain far more by setting the example for performance, attitude, and the right behavior. Whatever you expect others to do, then you must be willing to do the same. Leaders become great not because they can control others, but because other find value in their leadership and choose to follow them.

Build your leadership strengths, develop your unique greatness and step into a more happier, fulfilled, satisfied and rewarding life - the life that destiny calls you towards every single day.
